After The Big Bang is a sculptural assemblage that shows the video of a waterfall, presented in a digital photo frame and placed on a guitar amp. The audible noise, contrary to the likely assumption, is not that of the waterfall: the video has no sound and the only sound audible is the white noise of the turned-up yet unconnected amplifier. With this work Haroon Mirza plays with our perceptions whilst furthering is electro-acoustic explorations.
